BUJINKAN WOLLONGONG DOJO

Bujinkan (BOO-JEEN-KAHN) is a Japanese martial Art that incorporates Nine Ryu (ROO) or Schools composed of traditional Samurai and Ninja combat methods.

Bujinkan is easy to learn and classes are conducted in a non-competitive environment.
No previous Martial Arts experience is necessary and the techniques are appropriate for both males and females.
Classes are conducted in traditional techniques and modern applications to ensure both historical and cultural interest as well as practical self-defence methods are gained by each student.

Please note that due to the subject matter taught, classes are only open to persons 18 years and older and those who are of a responsible demeanour.

The Bujinkan Wollongong classes are conducted by David Smith and Dylan Chresby.

Shidoshi David Smith began training in Bujinkan in 1990 and obtained his Shidoshi Instructor’s Licence in Japan in 2005 by Grandmaster Dr Masaaki Hatsumi.

Shidoshi Dylan Chresby began training in 2002. On the 29th of March 2016, Dylan passed the Godan test, administered by Sveneric Bogsater in the presence of Soke Masaaki Hatsumi in Noda, Japan.
